The Discover Hawaii scuba diving experience is a half-day charter with two shallow (to 40 feet) introductory boat dives, each at a different scuba dive site. There are no study guides or tests to worry about, we will teach you what you need to know with a few quick skill lessons before you enter the water.
Discover Scuba Diving in Hawaii allows people to dive in open water under direct instructor supervision. It is designed to encourage exploration and allow people to satisfy their curiosity about Hawaii scuba diving that is both safe and enjoyable.
The experience is conducted on two of our shallower Hawaii reefs for an enjoyable introduction to scuba diving in Hawaii. Often, this program is conducted for people who have a limited amount of time and want to maximize their holiday experiences. If you fall in love with diving (and we think you will), The skills and experience participants gain may be credited toward the PADI Open Water Diver scuba certification. This introductory scuba dive experience motivates participants to seek further training.
The discover Hawaii scuba diving experience quickly moves people into the open water environment. After some basic straight-forward knowledge and simple skill development sessions, participants dive in small groups (no more than four divers) at two of our great Hawaii scuba diving sites here in Oahu. Discover scuba diving also links directly to the Hawaii PADI open water diver course. Those who have completed the Discover Scuba Diving experience also earn credit toward Confined Water Dive One and Open Water Dive One. This is possible because the Confined Water Dive One is the same as the Discover Scuba Diving Water Skills Introduction and Development Session, and the Discover Scuba Diving dive equals Open Water Dive One.
