First Time Scuba Diving Adventure In Oahu Hawaii

Beginner scuba divers experience amazing underwater adventure on the island of Oahu Hawaii.

Honolulu, Hawaii - Feb. 17, 2018 - 13:30 - Our group of beginner diver made way from the Kewalo Basin boat harbor to experience scuba for the first time. After a detailed dive briefing and reviewing safety information our group plunged into the water to try. Some practice of the dive skills just under the surface and down the decent line we went. 40' underwater we began our dive adventure exploring the Kewalo pipe reef. Almost immediately into the dive we encounter a huge Hawaiian stingray! An incredible creature to see underwater as it swims about the dive site. With lots of tropical fish about the reef it seems like the time passes to fast and we must return back up on the dive boat. On deck of the boat we adjust the dive gear and change over to fresh air tanks for the next scuba dive.

Jumping back into the water we proceed over to the Turtle ridge location. Passing several huge schools of beautiful fish on the way we finally arrive at Turtle Ridge. Almost immediately three huge Hawaiian green sea turtles great us. After a couple of selfies with the group we continue our exploration of the dive site. Consequently after all the excitement and our air supply running low we head back to the dive boat. A great underwater adventure today with our group of first time beginner divers. Oahu Hawaii has many amazing reefs to explore and some incredible underwater sea life encounters.
