Today's SCUBA tour for beginners was simply amazing in particular, the beautiful clear pacific waters and huge Hawaii green sea turtles. In fact, the group of first time scuba divers experienced about 70' of visibility underwater at Horseshoe reef. Certainly, these are perfect conditions to try SCUBA diving for the first time and encounter some incredible marine life. Although the Horseshoe reef is located just outside of the Kewalo Basin harbor it is the best and most vibrant reef on Honolulu's south side. The marine life is flourishing and comprised of for example, a variety of trigger fish, puffer fish, tangs, Moorish idols, and eagle rays are often encountered.
The Hawaiian green sea turtles are amazing and in particular, when SCUBA diving right along side them underwater. The First time divers are truly amazed at the size and grace of these sea turtles swimming under the sea. The fully grown Hawaii green sea turtles weigh on average 300 lbs and 3 feet long in length. The average life span of the sea turtles is around 80 years old.
Overall, Honolulu is one of the best locations for Beginner SCUBA diving tours.
