Thrilling shark encounter in Honolulu while scuba diving on the Sea Tiger shipwreck.
Dec. 09, 2018 - 13:30 - Our guest today were ready for a exceptional day scuba diving because of the scheduled dive on Honolulu's Sea Tiger shipwreck. After a dive briefing and gear selection we made way from the Kewalo basin harbor in search of the shipwreck. Due to some confusion with our GPS we finally found the incredible Sea Tiger dive site! Buddy check in place we jumped zealously into the pacific ocean. Making our way down the decent line our excitement increased on what we may encounter on the wreck.
Straight away were greeted by two white tip reefs sharks! Certainly an amazing and thrilling sight to see not one but two 6' sharks about. Because we wanted to explore the wreck in depth we entered the cabin area of the Sea Tiger. While inside the vessel we found even more reef fish swimming around. This is probably one of the best scuba diving sites in Honolulu due to all the tropical reef fish. On reaching the predetermined dive time we ascended to our safety stop.
Encountering sharks in Honolulu was truly a thrilling adventure. Overall today's Honolulu scuba diving tour encountering sharks was amazing!
